Films for Action / Wall of Films – Free online over 2500 films library to educate yourself.

#reposting this blog post briefly, as I consider this website is quite worth it, as in my notion the world seems to be screaming out for better educational possibilities.

For all movie fans – there is an amazing source of free documentary films (one of my favourite) that became almost my every day companion for the last couple of years . It’s Films for Action website.

As they say in their own status :

Films for Action is a community powered learning library for people who want to change the world. Film offers us a powerful tool to raise awareness of important issues not covered by the mainstream news. Our goal is to provide citizens with the information and perspectives essential to creating a more just, sustainable, and democratic society. Our website has cataloged over 2500 of the best films and videos that can be watched free online, sorted into 40 subjects related to changing the world.

The purpose of the website is also to provide more meaningful and reliable ways to stay informed on the issues that matter.

If you want something more visual to follow I’d highly recommend going to Films for Action Wall of Films page and making yourself at home there. Keep this link close whenever boredom kicks in. So whenever it does – here’s one way to productively spend your time.

Take a pick of whatever film title and its short description resonates with you, scroll down the page and let your new addiction sink in…

It became a hobby habit for me to go with at least few documentary movies a week. I considered it going to a personal gym to exercise my brain cells 🙂 So, alternative movie nyte, anyone? 🙂 Wishing it was a homework for school children to watch one movie from this website each week.

I listened to hundreds of talks by my favourite Leading Edge Thinker and Global Spiritual Alchemist for the last few years and I must admit – I have never enough. I could literally listen to Laura Magdalene Eisenhower’s expressive natural flow of thoughts for hours and I truly didn’t find many people resonate with me on such a deep level that she does. I find something very truthful in everything she talks about. I posted this video before but was lead naturally to relisten to this interview with Laura today again and decided to share one more time.

If you’re not up for watching anything – then go for those enlightening words of wisdom by practising some mindfulness and meditation. Either way is a good way to uncover the truth of Reality.

I’ve been a fan of talks by Terrence McKenna for years. He was an American philosopher, psychonaut, ethnobotanist, lecturer, and author. He spoke and wrote about a variety of subjects, including psychedelic drugs, plant-based entheogens,, shamanism, metaphysics, alchemy, language, culture, technology, and the theoretical origins of human consciousness. I’ve listened to literally hundreds of McKenna’s talks in the past and can never have enough to randomly tune into his minds’ well full of words of wisdom. I read pretty much everything by McKenna with “Foods of the Gods” as the leading title. Today I tuned into several hours of listening to his speeches from amazing youtube channel featuring and gathering best talks – McKenna Countr Culture, that I highly recommend. One of the talks I stumbled upon, not for the first time, was an amazing talk on the importance of TRUSTING YOURSELF AND YOUR INTUITION, RECLAIMING YOUR MIND and WALKING AWAY FROM INSTITUTIONALIZATION that is making SLAVES out of all of us. SLAVES to IDEOLOGIES, to the OBSOLETE SYSTEM, which does not serve HUMANITY at all. I decided to write it down wile listening. Thought it’s important. It’s funny how a talk delivered about 20 years ago fits perfectly into today’s reality and if taken seriously this time, it could actually bring some significant changeand help a bit in awakening to our true powers and assisting already shifting Global Consciousness…

Creating a better World and saving Humanity? Easy. Few Projects and Movements that can bring this Change now.

Fed up with how things are and have been for thousands of years?

Do you also have this deep feeling that something is terribly wrong with the world? What’s wrong with the world? There’s a great quotation by Michael Ellner that pretty much sums it up:

“Just look at us. Everything is backwards, everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, psychiatrists destroy minds, scientists destroy truth, major media destroys information, religions destroy spirituality and governments destroy freedom.”

Since I’ve never been a fan of the existing reality in the way it is structured and the way it enslaves us in its rigid rules, I’ve set on a journey to find better solutions out there. For years I’ve been searching thoroughly for already existing Movements, Projects, Organisations that have already come up with greater sustainable solutions for shifting from monetary, profit focused and greed blinded system to a resource based economy based on all members of society contributing for the good of all. Sounds like Utopia? Nothing further from the truth. Those solutions already exists, technology, mindset and resources are already here. It is possible to move to a better world without social injustice and create favourable conditions we all live in. Consciousness of people is already awakening. I thought it is important to assist this shift and deliver as many solutions to support this shift as possible. As we are each a participant in the co-creation of a new world, every person who awakens will cause a ripple effect across the consciousness of the planet that will unavoidably awaken and inspire others. That’s all I really want, to deliver a sparkle, a missing piece of puzzle. And if I succeed in finding one person out there who will get on board with what those Projects’ missions are about… I’ll consider myself a winner 🙂 One Soul at a time…from local interventions to global Change. I strongly believe the ripple effect will cause a domino effect one day.. It’s all up to us now, really.. that’s all to it.
